全力提高教学质量和效果
据悉，巴川新高中作为重庆市一所颇具规模的民办教育学校，定位于新高考改革，坚持自主办学理念。回顾五次高考，成绩斐然：24人圆梦清华、北大，双一流大学（原985、211）录取率位居重庆市前列（年度高考）平均分91%），而重庆的平均分在9个专业7科左右。第一的。 2017年至2020年，每年约有80%的学生成绩在600分以上； 2021年第一次新高考，成绩在600分以上的学生比例为：人，物理方向占74.32%，历史方向占51.66%。
作为巴川中国教育厅在四川创办的第一所新建高中，学校建校前后受到集团和当地政府的高度关注。高中由巴川中学校长、特级教师郭宏亲自领导；德阳市巴川中学执行校长、高级教师蒋扬勇，德阳市巴川中学校长、高级教师张玉婷。学术指导团队由教育部“国培计划”专家李元田、重庆南开中学原校长、党委书记宋朴、特级教师周祖友等专家组成重庆市高级教师评审委员会委员、市第四届人大代表等专家。教师制定系统的成长计划，通过新老教师师徒结对，通过“教、帮、带”实现教学质量的整体提升。

巴川新高中采用“小班教学”，实现教师点对点精准教学和高效课堂模式的探索与运用，更好地释放学生的精神思考和生活紧张。未来，学校将重点建设高中部，努力为国家培养高素质人才。
同时，德阳巴川中学还继续传承巴川中文教育系——巴川自主教育核心理念，以建设“具有全球影响力、全国一流、特色鲜明的新型高中”为目标以“优势明显”为办学目标，以学生个性化成长规划为目标。以此为导向，以“五百工程”为载体，着力打造巴川中学“高素养、高效率下的高分”的教育特色。

2018年，中国教育巴川系首次落户四川； 2019年，德阳市巴川中学初中部正式开学； 2020年小学部加入德阳巴川教育矩阵；本月28日，德阳巴川中学将迎来首批高中生。对于中学生，德阳巴川中学将正式形成涵盖小学、初中、高中的K12全年龄教育体系。将进一步推动成都都市圈基础教育高质量发展，为完善区域教育体系发挥重要作用。
