西南交通大学希望学院设有国家奖学金、国家助学金、希望助学金、优秀个人奖、先进集体奖等奖、助学金，同时为家庭经济困难的学生提供各种资助。
一、国家和社会各类奖学金和助学金
1.国家奖学金 ： 8000元/生/年 国家财政颁发。
2.国家助学金 ：一等助学金：3000元/生/年
二等助学金：2000元/生/年
三等助学金：1000元/生/年
国家财政、四川省财政厅颁发。
3.希望助学金：一等助学金：1500元/生/年
二等助学金：1000元/生/年
三等助学金：500元/生/年
凡A志愿报读我院的贫困学生，持贫困证明均可申请希望集团设立的希望助学金。
二、学院设立的各类奖学金和助学金
1.优秀新生奖：特等奖：4年学费或2年学费 (1.上重本线的学生第一志愿填报 我院本科，免除4年学费 2.上二本线的学生第一志愿填报我院专科，免除2年学费。)
2.综合奖学金：一等奖学金：600元/生/期
二等奖学金：400元/生/期
三等奖学金：200元/生/期
三、勤工助学
为家庭经济困难的学生设立了勤工助学岗位，组织其参加勤工助学活动。这项活动不仅有利于学生德、智、体、美全面发展，而且可以使学生通过劳动取得相应报酬。这是对广大学生、特别是家庭经济困难学生的有效资助方式，是对其安心完成学业的有力支持。
四、助学贷款
家庭经济困难的学生，可凭录取通知书到当地信用社或者银行申请助学无息贷款，金额为：8000元/年，共四年或三年。同时，我院可为专科学生提供全额助学贷款。

1)勤工助学
为家庭经济困难学生设立了大量的勤工助学岗位，组织其参加勤工助学活动。这项活动不仅有利于学生德、智、体、美全面发展，而且可以使学生通过参加劳动取得相应报酬。这是对广大学生、特别是家庭经济困难学生的有效资助方式，是对其安心完成学业的有力支持。
2)绿色通道
学院专门设立“绿色通道”办理点，为家庭经济特别困难的新生当场解决诸多特殊困难。为暂时无法筹措到学费的新生办理“缓交学费申请书”，新生凭“缓交学费申请书”即可报到、注册。
